Playground Questionnaire Activity

This playground questionnaire is a fun and interactive way for students to practice speaking English while talking about their favorite playground equipment. Children walk around the classroom asking their classmates, "What's your favorite playground equipment?" and record the answers on the worksheet.

Benefit: This activity encourages meaningful conversations as students practice asking and answering questions using familiar playground vocabulary. After the survey, the teacher can tally the class results on the board and help students report their findings using simple sentences such as, "The slide is the most popular," or "The swings are our class favorite." This engaging follow-up reinforces vocabulary, develops early data-handling skills, and gives students an authentic purpose for speaking, listening, and sharing ideas in English. 🛝 swings, slides, monkey bars, and seesaws become a natural context for building confidence and communication skills.
