These Halloween Furniture Worksheets help young English Language Learners practice vocabulary through engaging activities such as coloring, labeling, tracing, reading, drawing, cut-and-paste tasks, and creative writing.

The activities encourage vocabulary development, sentence building, reading comprehension, and creativity in a fun Halloween context.

They are perfect for Halloween centers, independent work, early finishers, homework, or whole-class lessons with Kindergarten and Elementary ESL/EFL learners. 🎃👻🏠

Vocabulary Practice

Students complete the matching worksheet by connecting each word to the correct picture. This activity helps reinforce Halloween vocabulary while developing word recognition and visual matching skills.

Matching Words to Pictures

Students read the Halloween vocabulary words and match them to the correct pictures. Then, they color each picture using the same color as its matching line to reinforce word recognition and vocabulary learning.

Write and Color

Students look at each picture and write the correct word to complete the sentence. Then, they listen to the teacher’s instructions and color each item accordingly (e.g., Color the drawer brown), reinforcing both vocabulary and listening skills.

Read, Find, and Color

Students read the sentences and use the picture clues to identify the correct objects and prepositions. As they read, they color each item according to the text, helping reinforce reading comprehension, vocabulary, colors, and prepositions of place.

Complete the Text

Students read the word bank and complete the sentences with the correct words. This activity helps reinforce Halloween vocabulary, reading comprehension, sentence structure, and the use of there is and prepositions. After completing the text, students color the picture by following the information in the sentences.

There are four Halloween rooms to complete. The teacher dictates the colors of the furniture and objects in each room, and students listen carefully and color the pictures. After coloring, students label the furniture and decorations to practice Halloween vocabulary, reading, listening, and spelling skills.

Students color, cut, and paste the furniture pieces into the correct rooms on the house worksheet. Then, they write detailed sentences using There is to describe where each item belongs, encouraging them to create the longest and most specific text they can.

Students use their imagination to draw and color a unique haunted house. Encourage them to add spooky details, furniture, Halloween characters, and decorations to make their house special.

When finished, students can present their haunted houses to the class and describe what is inside. Display all the worksheets on a bulletin board to celebrate their creativity while creating a fun Halloween classroom decoration.
