Airplane Adventure Board Game

Turn your Countries and Nationalities lessons into an adventure with this airplane-themed board game! Students follow the flight path around the board by rolling a die and moving their game pieces.

Whenever a player lands on a square with a colored airplane, they draw a question card that matches the color of that airplane. The cards challenge students to answer a question about the country or nationalities. If the player answers correctly, they earn a token of the same color as the airplane they landed on. If the answer is incorrect, play simply moves to the next student.

The game encourages communication and critical thinking.

At the end of the game, players count their tokens. The winner is the student who has collected the most colored tokens.

Countries class book

Turn your Countries and Nationalities unit into a meaningful keepsake by creating a collaborative class book!

In this creative project, each student receives a blank country template to personalize with the country of their choice. Students will color the country's flag, draw its location on the map, and illustrate a person wearing a traditional costume that represents the nationality. They will then research a few simple facts about the country and write them in the information box.

Once completed, the pages can be combined into a class book that celebrates cultures and countries from around the world while giving students meaningful practice with country names, nationalities, geography, and basic research skills.
