Bring food vocabulary and speaking practice to life with this fun hamburger-shaped board game! Students take turns rolling a die, moving around the burger spaces, and answering food-related question cards. As they play, they practice key language structures such as Would you like...?, Do you need any...?, There is/There are, some/any, and food vocabulary.

This game encourages meaningful communication, listening, and speaking in a relaxed, interactive way. It is perfect for small groups, learning centers, fast finishers, or whole-class review activities. Food Bingo Game

Students begin by looking at the food small picture cards in the resource and choosing 8 food items to write on their shopping cart bingo boards.

Then, the teacher uses the food cards from the resource to call out items using the target structure:

"I need some chicken."
As students listen carefully, they identify the food item on their shopping carts and mark it if they have it.

Students stay actively involved as they try to complete a row or fill their boards and be the first to call: "Bingo!"

Build Food Sentences with Word Cards

Using the word cards included in the resource, learners work individually, in pairs, or in small groups to arrange the cards and create complete sentences about food. The small cards are used to guide students into the building sentences.

Students combine sight words, grammar words, and food vocabulary cards to form sentences such as:

• There are three pancakes.
• I need some cereal.

Feed the Monster! How Much? How Many?

This hands-on sorting game is a fun way for students to practice the difference between countable and uncountable nouns. Using the word cards, students read each food item and decide whether it belongs to the How Much? monster or the How Many? monster.

Students take turns feeding the cards to the correct monster by placing them into the monster's mouth.

As they play, encourage students to say complete sentences such as: How much water is there? /How many sandwiches are there?
