School Unit games and Flap book for Elementary English Language Learners

Print the games and create a positive learning environment. Students enjoy playing games in a relaxed atmosphere.
This set of picture and word cards  will reinforce the meaning and meorization of the new words.

Use the cards to play spelling bingo. Hand in the template and have the students write any of the words from the cards. Then, start calling the words. The winner is the one that crosses off all the words.

Use the word cards from the game to match the real object to each word.

Pocket charts are so versatile. They can be adapted to suit any individual or group learning needs.

Students can read all the phrases, take a look!

One more easy game is to prepare this file folder game to review colors.

Board games are very engaging and interactive for your students. You can adapt all the games to suit your players to encourage participation. Is this something that you include in your lesson plan? Maybe not? Would like to? 

Flap books are easy to use and can be part of the wrap up part of the lesson plan for the classroom objects.It will develop writing and reading from the very beginning.

 It's basically printing the templates. Students can cut and staple to assemble the flap book.

For writing in the blank spaces, depends on what you want to work on. It can be dictation of sentences, word writing and more. Try having students write their own sentences and do a show and read to other students. The possibilities are endless and pick one that suits your students' neeeds.
