 Learning fruit and vegetable vocabulary becomes more engaging when it’s tied to **games that combine movement, speaking, and teamwork**. These **fruit and veggies games** give elementary ESL learners fun, interactive ways to practise food words while increasing confidence in speaking and listening — perfect for centers, pair work, or whole-class activities.

Foster collaborative learning as students work effectively in groups to put together this fruit and vegetable vocabulary puzzle. Use the game to help with reading fluency and word recall. Solving puzzles requires focus and persistence.

Teachers can easily adjust the difficulty of the games to match students’ language proficiency. Students can simply draw what is described in the cards.
